Try again Puff, we still have faith!

Puff Daddy (no longer Diddy, or P. Diddy, or Puffy or whatever else) appears to be launching a comeback career in the music game. We’re not sure why, the dude has over $700 million to his name (the most for any hip-hop mogul), but it may have something to do with the 20th anniversary of Bad Boy Records — a mark he celebrated with a slew of old-school performers at the BET awards this past weekend. Along with the stage-party, Puff Daddy also released a new track with Pharrell Williams titled “Finna Get Loose” — and it’s uh, well, it’s something.

If you’re into yell-rap and basic garage-band-styled beats this will likely be right up your alley, but for the most part it’s basic as fuck and holds no meat, no drive and has very little to say other than “finning” to get loose? It makes absolutely no sense, whatsoever.

To say it’s not going in our shuffle any time soon is an understatement, but the masses may catch on to it anyways. “Song of the summer” as some YouTube commenters suggest? Right. If summer was a 12-year-old kicking the back of your seat on an airplane while rot gut from last night’s entrée just settled in for an afternoon flight … yes, bad like that.
