1. The New Yorker explores the trend of men sending Venmo reimbursement requests after going on a bad date. Men expect a good return on their investment, the author sympathizes. A man sends a Venmo request the day after a date only if  he doesn’t think he got his money’s worth the night before.

2. Sesame Street sued an upcoming R-rated puppet movie, called The Happy Time Murders. Sesame Street claimed that the movie, which features puppets ejaculating, infringes on the show’s trademark. On Wednesday, a judge threw out the puppet jizz lawsuit.

3. Publix grocery store censors a high school graduate’s “Summa Cum Laude” cake. The company’s cake-design system refused to let the word “cum” appear on their wholesome pastries.

4. The Bop-It is back, but this time, you can have sex with it. This week, a teaser trailer was released for the “Flick ‘N’ Jerk,” a sex toy complete with a dildo, a vibrator, a butt plug and a fleshlight.

5. A new study reveals that when horny, women use more of their brain than men do. The researchers’ trials found that sexual arousal activates more brain regions in women than men. “Thinking with the wrong head” is deemed a scientifically accurate expression.

6. Sex workers are being shadowbanned on Twitter and prevented from taking part in social media movements like #TimesUp and #MeToo. Shadowbanning means that instead of deleting the users’ account, the platform simply hides their activity. The user does not realize they’ve been banned, but they’re essentially invisible.

7. Sex on Mars could prove to be much harder than previously thought, a team of international researchers discovered. Scientists studying how humans can colonize the Red Planet have found that reproduction might be the most difficult part.

8. Louisiana just banned cops from having sex with anyone in their custody. Gov. John Bel Edwards says there's no such thing as “consensual sex” between an individual and an arresting officer, because of the power imbalance. Louisiana became the 19th state to pass such a law.

9. This week, an accused rapist showed his penis in court to prove his innocence. The Connecticut man on trial for sexual assault was allowed to drop trou and expose his dick to a stunned jury — to prove that it doesn’t match his accuser’s description.

10. This weekend marks the celebration of International Whores’ Day. On June 1st and 2nd, sex workers and their allies will take to the streets nationwide, holding marches and rallies to protest the life-threatening “anti-sex trafficking” bill SESTA/FOSTA.
