Kind of cool?

Even though the South by Southwest film, tech and music festival is on clean-up mode in Austin right now, and we're likely not going to see the above technology utilized in any capacity for the foreseeable future, it's still cool to see what types of things people come up with in the realm of creativity. Called the True Fan Jukebox and sponsored by Spotify, the modified player chooses playlists according to what band shirt the person in front of it is wearing.

Which is great if you're wearing a particular shirt at the exact time you're standing in front of the machine and that same t-shirt is uploaded into the system for it to recognize; but any other time? You're SOL. Neat concept, though if it were an ATM machine that paid you for advertising a band on your body instead, that would be cooler.

One can only dream …
