It's a far cry from their "Choke Chain" days, but the guys in 3oh!3 are still out in the world doing their thing — with Blues Traveler and JC Chasez of *NSYNC no less. Wait, what?
Yep, 'tis true. If you've been to any of the annual 4th of July shows Blues Traveler has here at Red Rocks lately, you may have noticed the Boulder duo on stage performing with the harmonica thrashing blues rock band, most known for its variety of hits stretching through the '90s, including "Run-Around" and "Hook."
The video was created using the Rockstar Games Rockstar Editor, a special feature in Grand Theft Auto V for the PC that allows players to record, edit, and share videos created from footage in both Story Mode and GTA Online. All of the live action shots were filmed on GoPros. It's a first of its kind using the special software.
"Our video director, Will Schmidt, came to us with the idea of using Rockstar Editor in Grand Theft Auto V and we were intrigued and psyched to try it out,” says the band. “We thought it would be a cool idea to create a music video using the technology they provide and since we haven’t seen anyone else out there doing this yet, we thought it would be a great idea for the song. We are over the moon with the results. We think the video turned out great and hope our fans and the fans of GTA will love it too."
