A Thornton woman finally received the unemployment benefits for a job she had left months ago after she was left on hold for 11 days.

Previously, we thought that we held the record after we were on hold with a Walgreens for over two hours trying to discuss the finer logistical points of our Adderall prescription.

Lisa Craig tells 9News that she finally received a sum of $10,000 after she stayed on hold with the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment for 278 hours.

While this deposit doesn’t reflect how much will be taxed, Craig essentially made $36 an hour for being on hold on the phone, which is twice as much as we make at our phone sex job.
