Snow, snow, go away, come again some other day …

This past weekend was a good couple of days to stay in. Regardless of where you were in the state, the crappy weather dampened plans of going out pretty much anywhere, even causing the annual 4/20 rally in Civic Center Park downtown to cancel its events.

But organizers say that it isn't the end of the celebration of cannabis this year, in fact, they told 7 News it may be a blessing in disguise. The postponement gives them more time to plan for a bigger event at a more accommodating venue.

"Who knows,” says Robert Corry, attorney for the Denver 4/20 rally of where they'll hold it. “Maybe Red Rocks, Sports Authority Field, Coors Field, Fidler's Green, Infinity Park, Dick’s Sporting Goods Park."

There's no official word yet on what date the re-scheduled event will be on, but it will likely be sometime this summer in June or July.

"Even though God loves marijuana, he decided to create snow that day," Corry continues, "We're definitely going to hold a make-up rally or a concert somewhere. There's no question."
