One of the single most important facets of society is falling victim to the greedy bastards at the top. When will we ever learn?

1.2 Million

Every year, 1.2 million students drop out of school —  7,000 per day, or one every 26 seconds.

Gone Baby, Gone

In the U.S., 14 percent of new teachers resign by the end of their first year, 33 percent leave within their first 3 years, and almost 50 percent leave by their 5th year.

High school dropouts are 8 times more likely to go to prison, 50 percent less likely to vote and aren’t eligible for 90 percent of new jobs.

Today it’s 400 percent more expensive to go to college than it was when Mr. Mister’s smash hit “Broken Wings” was popular (30 years ago.) The cost of medical care has gone up 200 percent in the same time.

$1.4 Trillion

Former and current U.S. students own a combined $1.4 trillion in student loan debt — or what the average GDP of Australia is in any given year.

In the United States today, over 317,000 waiters and waitresses have college degrees.
