Suck on a tampon soaked in cranberry juice.

Strangest thing in your fridge right now:
Goat cheese that my girlfriend made from goats she milked.

Last book you read:
"Sex at Dawn"

How many tattoos do you currently have:
They’re all connected now, so, one.

Your work is so clean and precise. Don't you ever mess up?
Of course. I just start the drawing over.

You're from the 505 (New Mexico), so is our editor. You definitely turned out better than him. Did the Land of Enchantment inspire your style?
Hugely. Have you seen what I do? Cholas and lowriders? I’m ‘bout it.

What do you enjoy most about putting Sharpie to paper?
It works the same every time I use one.

Do you ever have the urge to include other colors besides black?
Yes, that’s when I go write graffiti.

You're known for hosting art nights in Boulder, did our invite get lost in the mail? Tell us about these nights. Can anyone come?
Art Night is open to the public but capacity is about 25 people. Participants bring their own art supplies, drinks, etc. Our regulars include illustrators, painters, sculptors and computer designers from ages 15 to 50. If you’d like to join us, just shoot me a direct message on Instagram: @ogmikegiant.

What advice do you have for aspiring artists?
Put your head down and work. Don't look at what other artists are doing. Share your work via platforms like Instagram. And get yourself a good website with an easy to use webstore.

Worst advice you've ever gotten?
You’d get a lot further as a professional if you quit writing graffiti.

Who do you look up to in the art scene?
Wes Lang and John Copeland.
