Fighting the Islamic State with #springbreak, one internet catfish scam at a time.

There are a lot of people you could catfish in this world. Bankers. Professional criers. Laser tag referees. The Walgreen's employee of the month guy even.

But ISIS, the world's most bloodthirsty militant group, generally isn't one of them. You know, on account of the beheadings and terror and whatnot.

… But that didn't stop at trio of earth's most badass females from pulling a fast one on the Islamic State after they were able to con multiple ISIS members into sending them conversion money … which they planned to use for a girl's trip.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how you turn the tables in ISIS recruiters who prey on young women. Spring Break!

But as "YAAASS QWEEN" as that is, it's still also illegal and the the three Chechen girls are now under investigation for fraud. Apparently, even scamming ISIS is a no-no in the eyes of the law, even if the money they accepted was given to them on they pretense that they'd travel to Syria to join the Islamic State for terrorism purposes.

The ladies got away with $3,300 before being discovered, according to RT News. That's more that enough for Cancun.

The ISIS members had allegedly reached out to the girls’ social media accounts, asking the girls to join the militant cause. To this, the girls were all, "LOL sugar daddies!" and intentionally kept in contact with them, stringing them along and even sending fake photos to keep them interested enough to send money.

After the ISIS members wired them the money, the girls closed down their accounts, stopped all communication, and kept the windfall, leaving their ISIS recruiters catfished and confused.

“I don’t recall any precedent like this one in Chechnya, probably because nobody digs deep enough in that direction,” police officer Valery Zolotaryov told a local Chechen newspaper. “Anyhow, I don’t advise anyone to communicate with dangerous criminals, especially for grabbing quick money,” he added. Wise advice, especially if your favorite part about yourself is that your head is attached to your body at the neck.

But still … it's nice to know we have somewhere to turn when we need our rent money paid …
