It's one of the world's greatest mysteries: Just who is Banksy and what does he look like?

It's so mysterious in fact, that many people around the world devote precious time to finding out — privacy and artist respect be damned.

However, the latest "Banksy sighting" taking over headlines is downright sketchy yet hopeful all at the same time. A woman claims to have gotten the elusive artist on camera at a time she wasn't even supposed to be there.

The footage was taken before opening in Herzliya Marina, Israel, at the Arena mall. It's a location set to showcase a scheduled show by Banksy's former manager in the coming weeks.

So, is he just a regular father-looking-type-of-guy as the story claims?

"The guy in the video is maybe around 40," the woman who captured the video said. "The door was open and the smell of spray paint was really strong. He’s not Israeli for sure.‘I’m not what you’d call a huge fan, but I was saying to myself 'oh my god, it’s him. I think it’s Banksy.'"

Problem is, no one really knows if it's him or not. The Internet, however, has already done its expected job of attempting to debunk the footage in question, saying it's likely the artist AME72 because of the familiar Lego characters on the wall.

Dude's also wearing what most dads rock in the summer, which gives the video so much more vigor and mystique. Either she caught another artist and made headlines anyway because of the media's insatiable lust for clicks, or she really caught Banksy and he legitimately wears a fedora and cargo pants naturally.

Which we hope is true: A revolution like this would send the fashion world into a downward spiral. In just two weeks time, sales of two of the most hated looks would go gold. The damage to 'expert' reputations would be phenomenal. Man, that would be incredible to watch.

But … it's likely not him, because "him" arguably doesn't even exist

In a perfect world, however, Banksy is one of us, and rocks cargos like he's never given a fuck in the first place.
