What next, Seattle fans, kicking puppies into Puget Sound?
Jesus, Seahawks fans are just the worst. Oakland, you can thank Seattle's “12th man” later, because they’ve officially taken a repugnant seat amongst the lowest of the brood on fandom’s sliding scale. Making children cry? Demons, the lot of them …
One underpaid teacher in Tacoma, WA — with her Lynch-tinted glasses blocking all human sensibilities — chose to not see past general decency when she made a sweet, Bronco-loving princess cry when she violently lashed out with words against our home squad — a team full of class, dignity and the overall respect of the entirety of football fans everywhere. It was “Blue Friday” for little Zyliah, a day when she was told that Broncos gear has no place in Seattle.
"She walked up to me and I knew something was wrong," Zyliah's grandmother, Fawn Allen, tells KDVR Fox31 Denver news. "She just kind of put her head down and she’s like, ‘Grandma, Mrs. Watson told me that I can’t wear my Broncos dress. That if I don’t have a Seahawks shirt, that I have to wear my uniform.'”
Nevermind the fact that there wasn’t a single Seattle Seahawks fan before the 2012 season (allegedly —^), but for one to outright deny a 5-year-old gem amongst stones the opportunity to laud her Broncos is disgraceful. What next, kicking doe-eyed puppies into the Puget Sound for a laugh? The nerve of these puppy kicking Seahawks fans … the absolute nerve!
"We trust her to this teacher every day,” innocent Zyliah’s grandmother continues, “to teach her, to protect her, to build up her self-esteem, not tear her down, because of a football game."
A visit to the principal office apparently mended wrongs when the teacher sought forgiveness for her evil conscience. “The teacher didn’t understand the full scope of what 'Blue Friday' means,” says a statement from the school. Moving forward, students and teachers may wear uniforms of any team they want, the principal adds — kind of negating the whole “blue” thing in “Blue Friday,” but whatever …
May our sweetest little Mile High princess continue to cheer for her respected team in the arms of safety while she’s situated in the den of pure evil. Zyliah, Denver salutes you, GO BRONCOS!
