“WTF!” will be every second Saturday at Beauty Bar Denver and promises to be one of Denver’s weirdest monthly parties. Like…baby Bieber in a bikini weird.

res·i·den·cy
noun \ˈre-zə-dən(t)-sē, ˈrez-dən(t)-,ˈre-zə-ˌden(t)-\

  • the state or fact of living in a place

Residency is a favorable word in the realm of the DJ. It means steady paychecks, the ability to build relationships with regulars and trust from the management to do basically whatever the funk he or she wants to musically. It’s a calling card of sorts that says, “Hey – listen to me because I’m no amateur and have paid my dues playing house parties and bar mitzvahs. You’ll enjoy this in your ears.”

But it’s not only bragging rights for the DJ. Residency nights always have the drunken revelers in mind and venues will generally marry the atmospheres with drink specials, merchandise giveaways, guest performances, secure coat checks and all the free sink soap you can wash your hands with. They’re brilliance, really.

One of the newest announced residencies is from Beauty Bar Denver, DJ Wushu and Spencer Foreman. “WTF!” will be every second Saturday at Beauty Bar Denver and promises to be one of Denver’s weirdest monthly parties. Like…baby Bieber in a bikini weird.
