Psychologically wandering out of our prison-like windows in the office can be a daunting task during most days. It’s taken us years to master the true art of absent-mindedly staring into a pile of paperclips while simultaneously dreaming of what could have been had we been born into wealth. Our favorite mind candy narrative would have to be the one where we’re not paying our fair share of taxes and skirting around things like the law and reliance on looks alone. To be rich is to own the super human ability of actually benefiting from being ugly and an asshole. A dream world indeed…

But what does that have to do with anything we’re saying here? Nothing really. It has nothing to do with it other than our heavy affinity for daydreaming the clock down on all the weekdays ending in the letter y.

Sometimes our imagination needs a bit of a boost from time to time though. For the better part of the workday today our inspiration has come from the news that Bruno Mars announced tour dates. And yes, he’s coming to Denver-ish.

Mars is fresh off of his Grammy win for Best Pop Vocal Album and will also be appearing at this year’s Super Bowl halftime show with a few aging burnouts named the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Our friends over at the International Business Times had this to say to people wondering when the show might be. (Though we’re curious; you’re not watching the Broncos game? Square!)

The contest itself is set to begin at 6:30 p.m. ET at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Halftime in most NFL games usually begins about an hour after kickoff. However, the Super Bowl features more commercials than a normal game. This year’s halftime show is expected to begin a little after 8 p.m. ET.

Tickets range from $39.95 (lawn) to $89.95-$129.50 (reserved) and will go on sale this Monday, February 3rd, at 10 a.m.
