A show recap …

Los Angeles x London based alt-rock band Charming Liars sure brought its charm, along with a blast of energy to Salt Lake City’s Union Event Center. Hot off the release of the new EP, Bare Bones, the 4 piece group started the night off with a bang, lead singer Kiliyan Maguire serenading the crowd with powerful vocals. The band paused mid set to recount the last hot and sweaty club show they played in Salt Lake City back in 2016. The members recalled how much energy the crowd had, and how that memory was seared into their brains forever.

Fast forward to 2019 and Charming Liars proved once again Salt Lake City was there to rock. The highlight of its performance was the song “Soul,” which was one of the first songs to gain national attention by cracking the Top 40 charts. From all around the venue, fans far and wide were singing along to each and every word.

The guys in Charming Liars played their hearts and guitars out in front of a sold out 3,000 person crowd awaiting super group Angels And Airwaves. Their performance had the crowd moving, shaking and jumping during the entire set. From the second it got on stage, the crowd was infatuated with the sound. After performing the final tune "Like a Drug," the band announced they all wanted to meet every one of their fans. The band members graciously accepted autographs hugs and of course a few selfies after their set for their adoring fans. It was a show not soon to forget.
