You can do better, Peyton. Come on.

What does Budweiser and having sex in a canoe have in common?

They're both fuckin' near water! Boom!

Anyway, after our boy Peyton saved Colorado by conquering the Super Bowl, he brought great shame to this beer-brewing Mecca by plugging Budweiser after the big game:

And there are rumors that he got several million dollars for claiming to want that piss beer after the game, but that's not the point.

Anheuser-Busch sent 50 cases of Bud, or 1,200 bottles, to the Broncos afterparty. In response, Manning now got a bunch of craft beer from the Brewers Association, who would rather not see Manning down a cold “macro-brew.”

The care package included at ton of great beer, most of which is brewed right here:

Black Bavarian (German-style Schwarzbier) | Sprecher Brewing Co. | Glendale, WI
Apricot Blonde (Blonde Ale) | Dry Dock Brewing Co. | Aurora, CO
Craft Lager (American Lager) | Upslope Brewing Co. | Boulder, CO
Colorado Kolsch (German-style Kolsch) | Steamworks Brewing Co. | Durango, CO
Racer 5 IPA (India Pale Ale) | Bear Republic Brewing Co. | Healdsburg, CA
Samuel Adams Boston Lager (Vienna-style Lager) | Boston Beer Co. | Boston, MA
Mojo IPA (India Pale Ale) | Boulder Beer Co. | Boulder, CO
Sawtooth Ale Nitro (Extra Special Bitter) | Left Hand Brewing Co. | Longmont, CO
Session Cream Summer Ale (Cream Ale) | Full Sail Brewing Co. | Hood River, OR
Graham Cracker Porter (American Porter) | Denver Beer Co. | Denver, CO

Damn, that's a nice spread. They even included a lovely note:

And our own Left Hand Brewing ran a sweet deal at the start of the week, offering Peyton Manning — and anyone else — a free pint of beer in exchange for an empty bottle or can of Budweiser from 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. Tuesday. Company spokeswoman Emily Armstrong said: "We believe that our quarterback in Colorado deserves better and this craft brew is for you."

Really, that means that you'd actually have to drink a full Bud to get a free microbrew, but that's a sacrifice we're willing to make.
