A trio of robbers had their getaway car stolen mid-heist after attempting to hold up a check cashing business in Commerce City last month.

We know what you’re thinking: maybe we should’ve used the term “theft” or “aggravated robbery” to describe this act of crime, but after playing Grand Theft Auto and smoking weed on our couch all week, “heist” just sounds better.

An article from BBC explains that the trio, believed to be underage, were in the middle of attempting to rob a check cashing business when a carjacker did what carjackers do best: they jacked the car.

We understand what it’s like; just last year the IRS tried to take a whole bunch of our income whilst we were trying to commit tax fraud. It’s hard out there.
