Traveling abroad? We got you …

We know the French love to drink and are — at this very moment — developing crafty ways of getting out of work. But damnit if we weren't completely in the dark as to just how many bars there are in the country.

One redditor (redditee, redditar?) with entirely too much time on their hands recently used data from the French National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies to plot each bar — solely buildings with seats and booze, and not anything that would be considered "mixed use" or restaurants that sell alcohol too. All those red dots you see, those are just places with a place to sit down and sip on fermented goodies. Pretty impressive if you stop to think about it.

We'd love to see this done to America.
