We wanted to hate it so badly. But we couldn't. Just look at it.

It's the world's first weed-themed Rolex watch, and it's glorious.

Aptly named "Sweet Leaf," the customized Rolex Milgauss timepiece is the work of master engraving house Fin Des Temps who commissioned Seattle-based jewelry label Third Eye Assembly to do the dirty work. It's a one-of-a-kind piece that took over 150 hours to engrave and adorn with a highly intricate sativa leaf patterned band, case and bezel.

And check out the back, a tongue-in-cheek homage to the old Reefer Madness movie poster — which of course classically proclaimed smoking weed would turn everyone into zombies and sex-crazed maniacs. Little did the producers know then they were only half right: weed turns people into rich, productive members of society who can afford nice watches … but yeah, also sex-crazed maniacs

“Today, we are in the midst of the biggest cultural shift on views of cannabis in modern history," says Buddy Austin, jewelry artist at Third Eye Assembly. "It’s time to give the beauty of the cannabis plant a luxury association that it truly deserves.”

Austin says he found the inspiration for the piece while growing two plants of his own, having to invest in the health of the plants and studying them as they took shape. It was a great way to combine his passion for jewelry engraving with a new one of growing cannabis.

Though if you're loaded and looking to buy a couple for wrist one and wrist two, sorry, not for sale. Sweet Leaf was sold to a private buyer before it was completed at a healthy $30,000.

But you can look at it, and sometimes, that's good enough …
