But do us a favor: Leave that annoying friend who loudly quotes movies during playback at home. Not funny, Lisa. Not funny.

Want to enjoy yourself at Red Rocks, but can’t afford the obnoxious concert ticket prices and arbitrary fees that make grown men cry? The annual Film on the Rocks series is always a good way to get off the couch and watch something you’ve likely seen a hundred times before, this time in the confines of the greatest music venue in the world.

And it’s not just a dvd thrown at you for no good reason at these events either. In fact the entirety of the night is a great way to discover new music, too. Each movie is opened by independent bands, with most of them local artists being given a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Tickets for each show are $12.25 for general admission, which is a far better deal than other movie theatres in town. Without the sticky floors, too. Win, win win no matter what!
