Those awful stoners and their contributions to society! *waves fist*

Potheads are dangerous and frightening, what with their calm demeanors, lack of motivation for physical altercations and willingness to give back to the community. Somebody should do something about the atrocities society faces with them in it. We can't have them picking up trash to better the neighborhoods. Think of the children!

In a effort to prove that the Colorado Springs city council members — who voted to ban cannabis clubs some two weeks ago from Colorado Springs — are just a bunch of judgmental assholes, Steve Pacheco, owner of The Pothole (one of the cannabis clubs ordered to shut down), is bringing over 100 people together to clean up the town. He's giving them free weed in return.

“The law is the law and whether you’re my friend or a stranger off the street, if you’re 21 years of age or older, I can give you weed,” Pacheco tells Fox 21 News.

For every bag of trash collected, Pacheco gives volunteers a free joint — he also offers lunch to everyone willing to participate.

“It’s going to cost me something, but it’s all for a good cause,” Pacheco says. His hope is to break down the continual stigma marijuana smokers face, especially in backwards-ass places like Colorado Springs (which still thinks that having a faction like Focus on the Family headquartered there is something to be proud of).

Because of the turnout he's seen so far, Pacheco says he'd like to organize even larger projects down the road.

Our vote? Well hell yeah. When was the last time you heard of a bar organizing a community-service event out of their own pocket that didn't include a wet t-shirt contest? There have probably been a few, but still, kudos to The Pothole and all others involved.

Time to take out the trash …
