It's perhaps the most aptly-named drug-front company in history: Pueblo, Colorado’s “Get Your Fix Automotive,” was discovered distributing crystal meth, heroin and cocaine to its car repair customers, authorities say.

FBI officers and  members of the Southern Colorado Safe Streets Task Force worked together to expose the company’s illegal activity in a series of drug stings occurring between March and August. The stings were organized shortly after the garage’s owner, Daniel Vasquez, was revealed to have a colorful criminal history, including three felony convictions for illegal drug charges.

Task force members and undercover agents visited the garage a number of times to take photos and record video of Vasquez handling illicit drugs and firearms. Evidence collected includes photos of Vasquez holding a Ziploc baggie full of methamphetamine, along with footage of him weighing out heroin inside his desk drawer.

As if to seal his fated prison sentence, Vasquez then sold  a handgun and 52.9 grams of heroin directly to an undercover agent. He was arrested this past Friday, and now faces up to 10 years in federal prison and up to $250,000 in fines for possession of a firearm as a convicted felon.

Vasquez’s criminal record, along with the photo and video evidence already filed in U.S. District Court, indicate that the business-owner likely won’t be beating the charges against him. It’s a shame, to be sure — no one in Pueblo had better bargains on hubcaps and heroin, carburetors and cocaine, or mufflers and meth.
