Uh … follow your dreams?

So, if you spend any time on the crazier side of the Internet, you'll hear that the 9/11 terror attacks were an inside job orchestrated by George Bush, there were controlled demolitions of the towers … and a ton of other crazy crap.

If you're a normal person, you shake your head disappointingly and go back to watching cats do funny things or argue with idiots on comment threads.

But if you're one of the nut jobs who believes in conspiracy shit, you try to crowdsource enough money to recreate the entire project. Jesus. Some people's kids.

Meet Paul Salo.

He's an American expatriate trying to raise $1.5 million to “recreate” the September 11 attacks in an empty field in Thailand by crashing an aircraft into a building at 500 miles per hour. He’s got front-row seats for anyone who donates $5,000 or more.

And no, it doesn't seem like he's trolling us right now. We don't think. You can take a peek and decide for yourself, but he does seem big-time crazy.

Salo says in the video, “that we probably will find out that it was a similar physics as what happened on 9/11, OK? I believe that actually 9/11, some guys flew airplanes in there. But at the same time, hey, I’m no dummy. Maybe it’s not true. I want to find out too. I want to fly that sucker in there. We’re going to find out exactly what happens when something goes 500 miles an hour into a building full of fuel.”

So far, he has a grand total of $187. That's a long way from his goal, but one step at a time, man.
