ISIS apparently doesn't like pornbots …

Members of ISIS awoke to an alarming scene this week when it appeared that the Twitter world as they knew it had changed significantly. Not only did their accounts see an increase in followers, but said followers brought with them a large stash of porn photos that were definitely not safe for work.

It turns out, online hackers tracked down Twitter accounts belonging to ISIS members or supporters and bombarded them with thousands of sexually graphic images using automatically generated accounts called ‘pornbots.’

These ‘pornbots’ are Twitter accounts that float under the radar since they never actually Tweet, but contain a ton of sexually graphic images. In short, ISIS couldn’t delete all of these followers, even if they tried.

In recent days, numerous ISIS accounts have faced an influx of pornbots, some with a deluge with up to 4,000 porn images, including the terrorist group’s official media account before it was eventually disabled by Twitter.

The wave of nudity has forced many ISIS accounts to go private as they struggled to deal with the plethora of naked women and dangling dongs.

As to the genius mastermind behind this porn outbreak, it’s not quite determined who is responsible for the hack but many believe it’s Anonymous finally coming through on its promise to dismantle and humiliate the terrorist network. Well done Anonymous … well done.
