The 'Holidaze' season started strong earlier this month with Cultivated Synergy’s Holiday Budtender Appreciation Night.
The responsibility of knowing every industry product is a difficult task, even for the experienced 'cannasseur.' Cultivated Synergy’s CEO, Ryan Tatum, saw a need to bridge this “gap of education and understanding” between product manufacturers, their products, and the people who are selling them in dispensaries. Hence the event.
The reoccurring night provides an educational environment for members of the cannabis industry, one to learn about and sample the newest available products on the market. Since budtenders are direct salespeople to cannabis consumers, the monthly Budtender Appreciation Night enables them to become familiar with the products so they can effectively assist the medical patient or recreational consumer.
Sponsors consisted of production companies ranging from the new bean-to-bar organic chocolate bar edibles by Binske to the innovative minds at Evolabs — expanding and educating on the endocannabinoid system through terpene profiles. Sponsors provided information and samples to attendees to not only educate badged employees, but also foster a sense of community and education in the expanding cannabis industry.
Budtenders aren’t the only guests that are able to attend, either. All sides of the cannabis industry are welcome to come and network while meeting passionate members in the cannabis industry. The venue, Cultivated Synergy, also helps to nurture a positive cannabis culture operating as a workspace for a multitude of cannabis companies during the day, while hosting other weekly events at night.
Here's what happened at the last gathering of cannabis enthusiasts:
