Hey guys, Hood here. Getting excited for Hot Soup and Dead Phish Orchestra at the Fox this Friday. Don't know about you, but if I'm going out in some fiery meteor crash turned zombie nuclear winter, I'm going out at a show. I caught up with Matt Flaherty, guitar wiz at Hot Soup about what we can expect for the end of the world.

Dina Hood: What's new with Hot Soup?
Matt Flaherty: I have been working on a bunch of new material to showcase at the Fox. We are excited to have our old bass player Adrian Engfer sit in with us for this show. We also have good friend Phil Johnson from Jet Edison sitting in on keys.

DH: Anything special planned for the Fox show?

MF: We always pull some special stuff out for the Fox. Look for some world-ending themed songs.

DH: What's been the best part of 2012?

MF: 2012 was a year of transition for Hot Soup. I am excited about the new lineup and am looking for 2013 as an upgrade.

DH: How do you think the world is going to end?
MF: The world is going to end when Hot Soup finds a final roster.

Tickets are $8, +$2 for under 21. Doors at 8:30pm, show at 9:00pm.
