If you haven't seen Boulder locals Grant Farm yet, you should get a ticket for the Fox Theatre tomorrow night. The band is fairly new and released their self-titled debut in March 2012, and has spent the last year touring in support. Grant Farm's guitarist is Tyler Grant, who won the National Flatpicking Championship several years ago and is an all-around surgeon on guitar. Before Grant Farm he played in the Drew Emmitt Band and the Emmitt-Nershi Band so he's definitely no stranger to the fast-picking that us Coloradoans love. Joining Grant Farm is a friend of the band and general banjo wizard Andy Thorn of Leftover Salmon, who actually played with the band in its early days along with Keith Moseley. With The Drunken Hearts opening, it's sure to be a night of killer fast-pickin' roots rock.
