I think the hardest part about winter is that music slows down, musicians stop touring, and you're forced to wait until summer as line-up after line-up for festivals are released. Well, you can get your mid-winter festival fill this weekend at the 1st annual Winter Wonder Grass Festival, which is a little festival but chalked full of some of the best string musicians around today. The festival starts Saturday in Edwards at the Crazy Mountain Brewing Company, and that night Drunken Hearts, Head for the Hills, and Greensky Bluegrass are the main musical attraction. The next day, Sunday February 17th, certainly doesn't dissapoint either because the lineup includes an early set from Magic Beans (playing acoustic), followed by Milkdrive, Grant Farm, and 2 sets from the Infamous Stringdusters. Did I mention it's also a beer festival, seeing as it's at a brewery and there's a beer tent? What more could you want!

Tickets are $69 before fees at http://www.winterwondergrass.com
