PETA, back at it again with the crazy talk!

At this point, PETA is probably more well known for its outlandish publicity stunts than any attempts to actually help animals.

In that vein, the organization recently dropped a fanciful video stating that expectant mothers who consume chicken are causing their unborn sons to have small penises. Literally, in the video, PETA makes the claim that, “Eating chicken can make your kid’s dick small.” Pretty cut and dry.

The video references phthalates, which are chemicals sometimes found in plastic, but now also in chicken flesh. The video goes on to infer that a “recent” study shows phthalates directly alters an unborn kid's dick size. “The more chicken consumed the smaller the dick,” it says.

Really, the “recent” study it references is from 2008, and though it did find a relationship between phthalates and penis size, chicken has extremely low levels of phthalates compared to other foods.

This isn’t the first time PETA has used this study to gain publicity. Back in 2013, the company called for women to be disallowed from participating in a chicken wing eating contest based on the same paper.

As is always the case now online, critics of the video are saying the statement “penis shames” people and wrongfully attempts to make the point that a bigger dick is better. Which to be honest, the people at PETA probably believe, since they’re some of the biggest dicks on the planet.

Though we do admire how they casually throw around the word "dick" like it aint no thang.
