The Knife is coming! The Knife is coming! If there's one band we thought we'd never see live, it's them. The f*cking Knife is coming. And they've got a new album, Shaking the Habitual, which we've casually embedded into this post for your listening pleasure.

The Knife is coming! The Knife is coming! If there's one band we thought we'd never see live, it's them. The f*cking Knife is coming.

The Swedish electronic duo will be stopping by the Fillmore Auditorium on April 21 to promote their new album, Shaking the Habitual. And by stopping by, we mean putting on the greatest show you'll probably ever see; it's rumored to include aerobics, choreographed dancing, costumes and more. A little trip to The Knife's website confirms this (and the fact that we're not dreaming).

We use the full potential of the electronic concert. In addition to bodies playing electronic music, we suggest different bodily engagements. We suggest dancing together as a mobilization, a collective moment for everyone in the room – on and off stage – to take part in.

In case you've been living under a rock, The Knife did this song:

According to their press release, Shaking the Habitual sounds a little something like this…"Disrespecting borders between digital and analogue, fake and real, professional and dilettante, star and cast, experimental acts and glamorous shows, nature and culture, audience and artist, blood family and chosen family, dance and action, a Buchla and bongo and the sound of a hit and a kiss." If you haven't heard anything from Shaking the Habitual, go ahead and change that right now.

Tickets for the show go on sale on January 18th.
