It's due time we get ourselves away from civilization and live out our dreams of being a self-sufficient recluse …

Even though there are more than 7 billion people on this planet — each with our own thought processes and experiences — there are likely a few shared dreams everyone envisions at least once in a lifetime. Hooking up with someone else, anyone else, whilst backed up in a monogamous relationship is probably one, murdering the asshole who feels speeding up when a turn signal goes on is two, and living off-grid, away from any human interaction, is three.

Acting on the first two generally means a person is a pseudo-evolved twat. But the third? Slovakia-based Nice Architects are lending a hand making dreams of seclusion become reality with its plainly named Ecocapsule — a micro-living pod with self-sustaining energy sources and First World luxury amenities.

Via its site, the company promises the mobile live-in-egg to be “fitted with all essentials necessary for a comfortable prolonged stay without a need to recharge or re-supply.”

Equipped with solar panels and a wind turbine, the spherical shape of the tiny residence is also ideal for collecting rainwater or morning dew for running through its included filtration system. The pod also features a built-in kitchenette with running water, flushing toilet and hot shower.

The price of the unit is still under secrecy until later in 2015. But is any price too high for the calming sense of knowing no living being is within earshot of your personal space?

Don't call us, we'll call you. So long suckers!
