Ronald and friends have been putting in work over in the playhouse figuring out how to peddle the stuff called food at their restaurants. McDonald’s revealed that its new happy meal boxes will transform into 3D goggles that will work with your phone. Once the “Happy Goggles” are assembled, kids can pop in their cellphones and play an new educational app that the burger company developed. Sounds productive although giving an asshole toddler yet another reason to be addicted to a smartphone might not be the best idea. The concept launches in Sweden as a test run and will eventually make its way to the US of A.

We’ll give it to McDonald’s though, they never ceases to amaze us. While we’re still waiting for the addition of an automatic Tinder match when we order a value meal over 1000 calories, we can’t argue that it’s much more important to distract young kids than actually make nutritious and healthy food for them to consume and for that, we thank you McDonald’s.
