The stupid, it burns!

If you're prone to getting upset over the senseless killing of a baby animal in a selfish quest to pose for photos, then avoid the video below — and maybe this entire post altogether …

For those of you who've stuck around, check this happy horseshit out: A baby Franciscana dolphin was recently yanked out of the ocean in Argentina by a few tourists for the simple idea that a photo with it would be cute and entertaining. Eventually, the entire mob passed it around and anyone can probably guess what happens after that — a concept any 4-year-old is able to comprehend. "Fish" can't live out of water.

The type of dolphin, also known as the La Plata, is a species with only about 30,000 left, so it's a fragile little guy even without the help of humans obliterating it from the planet one by one.

The Argentinean Wildlife Foundation released a statement calling out the act, pointing to the obvious: "The Franciscana, like other species, cannot remain for much time outside of the water, it has thick fatty skin which gives it heat and means that taking it out of the water rapidly causes it to dehydrate and die." It's up to everyone beachside, it continues, to put those fuckers back in the water. Not, you know, be a complete idiot about it.
