He was so inspired by his weed debate with Nancy Grace that now he wants in on the pulse-pounding world of municipal politics.

2 Chainz was apparently so inspired by his victory over Nancy Grace in their ridiculous weed debate a few weeks back, that he's planning to run for mayor of his hometown, College Park, Ga.

Nearly two weeks ago, the two engaged in a verbal sparring match about marijuana legalization, and 2 Chainz was widely thought to have won … which was really not all that surprising given that Nancy cluelessly barked senseless drivel and 2 Chainz actually knows about weed.

See?

Even though 2 Chainz was given the win, he acknowledged that a second bout with Grace was unlikely, even though she challenged him to a Round II. That 2 Chainz is so hit-and-quit.

“I moved on, man,” 2 Chainz told XXL. “I don’t know what’s going on up there. I know I’ve been getting a lot of praise and everything. I definitely appreciate the love that came behind me.”

After leaving Grace mystified, 2 Chainz’s confidence is at an all-time high, and his fans are calling for him to run for mayor of his hometown.

“I’m supposed to be running for mayor in College Park. I got everybody wishing. I’m really gonna do this little mayor thing in College Park. I’m just trying to make sure I have the right qualifications," he said.

What qualifications? He's a famous rapper with songs about birthdays and a special place in his heart for Mary Jane. He''s already won.

We just hope he wins by more than 2 votez. Also he reportedly has a lot of "Beez in the Trap," which could make him a very intimidating competitor for incumbent Jack Longino, who has been College Park's mayor for more than 20 years. Experience vs. Beez … now that's the kind of matchup we can get excited about.
