When it was announced that male sex robots with bionic dicks would hit the market this year, ladies around the world rejoiced.

Realbotix, the sister company of love doll manufacturer RealDoll and the most prominent name in the sex robot industry, had long promised to pursue an artificially-intelligent mechanical man. Last month, the company introduced the first model. His name is Henry.

In the past, porn performers have expressed concern about sex cyborgs, prompting dramatic headlines like, “Sex robots could put us all out of work.”

However, Henry might change things. Instead of fighting against sex robots as the inevitable death of love and sex, porn stars may start to consider how they can work together.

Performer Harriet Sugarcookie has even admitted she’d like to make a movie with a male sex robot.

Sugarcookie would like the robots to evolve a bit, as she’d prefer shooting the scene with an appliance that can mimic human feelings and emotions.

Henry could be the sexy, expressive and passionate bot she’s looking for. After all, he’s six feet tall, has rippling six pack abs, and is endowed with the penis model of your choice. He's programmed with the ability to recite poetry and talk about your favorite TV show. He tells you jokes and welcomes you home at the end of a long day. Best of all, he says all of these pussy-moistening phrases with a British accent.

Realbotix CEO Matt McMullen expects that customers won’t be investing in Henry for sexual fulfillment. They’ll buy him to stave off loneliness.

The Daily Mail quotes McMullen, “Women have the same issues of loneliness as men. People call them sex dolls but mostly it’s about companionship. In this world of computers people are missing out on human interaction.”

Henry is an unblinking cyborg with no hobbies, no aspirations, or no general sense of self, so it’s hard to see how he’d fulfill a woman’s complex emotional needs. Her vaginal needs are a different story.

Our love for our vibrators is enough to prove we’re very happy to achieve orgasm making use of electronics. When it comes to a fully-developed humanoid robot capable of pleasuring a real vagina, many women may be more tempted than they’d like to admit.

Translate that temptation into action, capture it on camera, and finally — we’ll have ourselves a steamy robot sex scene.
