Worthy, a featured artist at this year's Dirtybird BBQ, drops us a pregame playlist before the cerw gets to town.

We've got the Dirtybird BBQ coming to Denver this weekend, which couldn't be any more fitting because by then we're probably going to be really hungry and in need of some musical flavor to top all musical flavors. Smack in front of the Sports Authority Field @ Mile High, the event promises to bring the volume up to substantial party levels — and features special guest Too $hort. Win!

Before the troupe gets to town, we asked Worthy, one of the featured acts, a few questions beforehand, and also got him to build us a list to pregame to before the event. We'll have more artists from the roster up until showtime, so keep checking back with us like it's your Facebook feed and you just can't get away from it no matter what you do.

Why should Denver show up to the Dirtybird BBQ?

"It’s the first time the BBQ has been to Denver and it is going to be an amazing one with some of the best artists on the label. Plus Too Short! Who would not want to just see Too Short on his own. It’s going to be a great day of music that Denver peeps should not want to miss since everyone is going to be talking about it for the next week."

What makes the Dirtybird BBQ better than any other event?

"The BBQ’s always get the best vibes and people attending. Getting to play music during the day brings with it a whole different vibe than what you would hear us play in the club at night."

What do people need to bring to the Dirtybird BBQ to maximize the experience?

"People just need to show up ready to have fun and party with us with a big smile on their face. But it also might be a good idea to bring some sunscreen too since we will be partying it up outside in the sunshine, and no one likes to get burned."
