Anyway, in order to illustrate how our nation's reliance on beef is environmentally damaging, Candra Kolodziej decided she'd go out and look for other, more sustainable protein sources. But the enterprising youngster didn't have to go far to find the alternate source of protein she was looking for: her local pet food store had everything she needed.

From meal-worms to minnows to crickets to frozen mice, Candra stocked up on her grocery list of live pet food items, determined to defend the environment as well as the flaccidity of boners everywhere. She ate one vermin meal a day, creating unique recipes for each, which she graciously posted online:

"My experiment was met with equal parts admiration and disgust," she wrote, minnow eyes protruding from her canines. "Everyone's on-board until it's time for mouse-meat pie."

On the positive side, we think we've found a new form of contraception …
