Alas, ye rave-daddies and candy-lassies, Colorado’s beloved SnowBall music festival announced today it would not be returning in 2015.

The camp over at SnowBall took to the social medias today with the sour news. They’re reportedly “bummed” about not being able to melt-face this winter, but assure fans the Avon-started festival would be back in March of 2016.

As Denver Post’s Reverb reports, the festival has had a bear of a time trying to find a place to set permanent stake the past few years. After the debut festival netted 43 arrests — ranging anywhere from MIPs to an alleged sexual assault — and the subsequent year was even worse, it then bounced to the outskirts of Winter Park and the following year to the Sports Authority Field parking lot (a la Warped Tour and Riot Fest) in 2014.

The hiatus, they say, is to “regroup and refocus” on bringing the 3-day event back to its roots — as a mountain rager with beefy lineups according to latest and greatest tastes.

Calls to mountain authorities have yet to be returned to The Rooster offices on whether or not it’s still viable to wander around wooded areas with a head full of Fireball listening to Pretty Lights’ latest album as loud as headphones allow.
