People may actually start reading books again if this catches on …

Many, many years ago, the best day of the year was when the Scholastic Book Fair transformed a school's room into a joy-filled labyrinth of new books. There weren't any iPads, so the best anyone could do was stare at pages of dead trees and hallucinate for hours on end with a little something called "imagination."

Because book publishers didn't have a lot of money or marketing teams, a lot of books got released with shitty-looking covers. Maybe it was the style at the time too, but images rarely had anything to do with the actual content of the book.

Now, some beautiful bastard has been expertly photoshopping a little reality into the book covers of old … with hilarious results. We love everything that Paperback Paradise has been doing.
