Okay, it's not as dirty as that, but Switzerland was having a little problem with underage prostitutes and rampant sex trading. So, in an effort to monitor prostitution more closely in the country and to ensure the safety of prostitutes, the they've come up with a novel solution to unregulated sex trading called the 'sex box'.

Operating like fast food drive-ins for sex, each box has a checkpoint you drive up to and negotiate a price at. Said hoe has to pay for a permit, health insurance, and tax to work there, but that's A-Ok because there's showers, toilets, social workers, and counselors on site. All those things generate easily retrievable data about the hooker and her clients that the government can use to monitor the sex trade. There's nine boxes in Zurich so far, and they're all in safe, non-residential neighborhoods.
