“We’ve done parties in the past," says party organizer Carl Carrell, "but this is what we need.”

Vic Mensa, Anderson .Paak, Broods, Young & Sick, Hayden James: These are just a few artists CRL CRRLL (real name Carl Carrell) has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with this past year. An addition to Redbull's Sound Select in 2014, and being an attendee of Red Bull Music Academy in 2013 in Detroit, Carrell has been manifesting his own successes across the US. Along with that, he’s also planning for some amazing things to happen this year in the Denver music community.

Recently, Carrell launched FASORLab.com, which will house productions and art projects featuring various artists from around the world, while partnering with multiple companies to bring these projects and events to life.

“My first goal is to build a community of creatives and help them grow and accomplish their visions,” he tells us. “We’ve done parties in the past, but this is what we need.”

He's also joined forces with Ultra5280.com and Pearl’s (806 E. 13th Ave in Denver) for a weekly night of the best music he and fellow musicians can offer — dubbed Stay Up Saturdays.

“I’m here to bring the Denver community constant and amazing Saturday vibes," he continues. "I want the people to come for the music and the atmosphere. My goal is to bring acts that people haven't necessarily heard of. It’s the people that need to realize how awesome they are and how much of a privilege it is to have a place like Pearl’s, where no matter what the vibe is, it's always good.”

Stay Up Saturdays' mission is to give everyone a wild and frenetic kind of dance energy. It hopes to be one of those parties people go to where they lose track of time, dancing the entire night clean away — a party that if you know … you know …

The event kicked off on Feb 6 and continues every Saturday from here on out. Tomorrow, Feb 13, Stay Up Saturdays welcomes Julian Church (formerly of Air Dubai). Find more information at FASORLab.com Ultra5280.com or PearlsDenver.com
