Lord of the Rings: "Racially diverse group journeys to a volcano to destroy jewelry."
#ExplainAFilmPlotBadly is a fairly self-explanatory, hilariously simple online trend that is currently breaking the internet in half like an expired Slim Jim. People include a photo from a film and follow that up by attempting to explain the movie in the vaguest, least helpful manner possible. Imagine your parents trying to explain the plot of fucking ‘Looper.’ Exactly … it's wonderful.
The topic recalls a great 1998 description of The Wizard of Oz: "Transported to a surreal landscape, a young girl kills the first person she meets and then teams up with three strangers to kill again."
