So, what does freedom mean to you?

What does freedom mean to you?

This is the question media collective BLURRED Film asked people around the community, hand selected from a broad stroke on the canvas we all call life.

"Our motivation to make this, is the current divisive political and social climate," says Rosco Guerrero, co-owner of BLURRED Pictures. "With so much negativity being shoved down our throats these days, we wanted to go a different route and ask people about what unites us. We believe as Americans that's freedom. So we simply asked a bunch of friends what that means to them."

He and his team had the vision to show what binds us as a multi-perspective community. Many times, Guerrero says, we'd all be surprised at how alike our desires for the planet really are, and that if we just listened to one another, every walk of life would be able to see that.

"To us," he continues, "freedom is the ability to create a piece like this and release it without any trouble. Ultimately, freedom to us is freedom of expression."
