When Fiona Apple released her lengthy titled album “The Idler Wheel Is Wiser Than the Driver of the Screw and Whipping Cords Will Serve You More Than Ropes Will Ever Do,” we couldn’t help but be a little excited about it. After all, it had been a few years since we heard from her, and the timing of the release gave us a break from the downtrodden and often exhausting music that plagued the charts. It’s not to say those other artists don’t have their place, but there is little comparison to a Fiona Apple. Recently her camp released a few tour dates, which luckily for us, include Denver.

The tour, dubbed “Anything We Want: An Evening With Fiona Apple & Blake Mills,” hints at a more intimate setting at the appropriate Boettcher Concert Hall. In a statement to Consequence of Sound, the pair declare the honest truth of the intentions:

"We know it’ll be something special, and we aren’t being coy here – it’s just that we have about 26 percent of an idea of what the fuck we will be playing for you."
