Park Soo-yeon makes nine-f*cking-grand a month by participating in a new Korean trend called "gastronomic voyeurism," in which hungry people stare at their computers in awe as she shovels piles of homemade food in her mouth over a webcam feed. And, she gets to call herself "The Diva" and people still throw money at her. Hello, new career!

We know what you're thinking. "This is just feeder porn!," you shout. Well, quiet down, you. There's no sex or nudity involved. This webcam lady isn't here to cure your boner; she's here to cure your loneliness and hunger pains.

Everyday, she cooks an elaborate feast, then chats online with thousands of adoring fans as they pay to watch her eat it. And her viewers are surprisingly well-intentioned. Many of them just want to have someone to sit at the dinner table with, while others are on diets and miss the ritual of eating. "People enjoy the vicarious pleasure of my online show when they can't eat that much, don't want to eat food at night, or are on a diet," Park said.

The girl-eating-food-you're-not-eating-on-a-computer trend is huge in South Korea right now, especially since single-occupancy households are on the rise, so it's less and less likely that people are eating meals with anyone else other than themselves and their loneliness. But don't get too excited and start packing all your South Korean-themed clothing in a suitcase; the trend is so huge over there right now that there are 3,500 webcam actors doing the same thing. Let's just stick with eating our pizza bagels on Chatroulette for now, okay?

Now, here's a video of Park doing her thang. You didn't think we were going to let you go without showing you the magic of The Diva, did you?
