Unless Normcore sprouts zombie capabilities and comes crawling out of the grave in mom jeans and clogs, it's safe to say that trend is as dead as our Dad's love for us.

Unless Normcore sprouts zombie capabilities and comes crawling out of the grave in mom jeans and clogs, it's safe to say that trend is as dead as our Dad's love for us.

The trend was the most Googled fashion trend of 2014, but according to Google’s first-ever Fashion Trends Report, the anti-fashion fashion phenomenon has now faded into the murky depths of internet obscurity. Seinfeld fans everywhere are simultaneously relieved and pissed … what's a guy or girl to do with five or seventeen pairs of thick white socks and unoffensive button-ups? And will all American Apparels be forced to close their doors as the demand for grandma accessories and ill-fitting pants plummets? More questions than answers at this point.

Anyway, the report, which analyzed billions of fashion-related Google searches, found that Normcore wasn’t the only term that had faded into oblivion. Nineties jeans and scarf vests have oo succumbed to the fatal plague of irrelevance, thank fucking god. RIP, fuckers. You can check out the complete report here.

And now, in memoriam, here are some of our favorite/the most sickening Normcore looks from years past:

… And these …

Oh, whoops, these are all just Office Space stills … Moving on …

Yeah, that's more like it.

Burn in hell, Normcore. Burn in hell.
