Stoners for the win again … and again … OoOoh and maybe again if you've got the stamina.

According to everyone's drunk uncle Science, first year female colleges students are more likely to "hook up" with people if they smoke weed.

One study probed the the issue, finding that, "Hooking up during the first year of college is influenced by pre-college hook ups, personality, behavioral intentions, the social and situational context, family background and substance use patterns –- particularly marijuana use." That comes from a statement Robyn L. Fielder, the study's lead author.

The study, titled "Predictors of Sexual Hookups: A Theory-Based, Prospective Study of First-Year College Women," surveyed 483 incoming first-year female college students several times over the course of an eight month period, coming to the conclusion that there was something about weed that made women kinda horny and more likely to hook up with people.

The researchers defined a "hook up" as "sex between partners who are not in a committed relationship" and "the interaction is short-term and does not signify that a romantic relationship will begin." So yeah, glorious, meaningless, high-ass sex. Hot.

The same study found that women who smoked weed and binge-drank alcohol were more likely to engage in oral sex during hook up, too. But beyond the foreplay, weed smokers had more vaginal sex than non-smokers as well. The relationship between weed anal wasn't looked into, nor were homosexual hook ups. It was the vanilla sundae of sex studies … but a sundae nonetheless so we'll take it.

Race, socioeconomic status, academics, cigarette smoking and "parental connectedness" were not predictive indicators of the relationship between weed and sexual hook ups, the authors concluded.

Well, weed is an infamous aphrodisiac and relaxant; throughout history women have been using it to ease the pain of virginity loss, ease their sexual inhibitions, and get them in the mood for a night of insane sex with someone they'll probably never speak to again. It's no wonder that stoner babes are more sexually-oriented than not.

Follow-up study idea: Are women in Colorado colleges more DTF than places like Wyoming? We'd volunteer for that study …
