… Certain signs that are Sagittarius. Yep, science says that if you were born between November 22nd and December 21st, you are statistically much more likely to have a 1 Night in Paris moment than people born anytime else.

For the thoroughly scientific study, researchers collected statistics on amateur porn submissions for six months to determine if there was a correlation between astrological signs and the desire to submit a sex tape for public enjoyment. You may remember with a certain fondness that Homegrown Video was able to determine that the majority of amateur sex tapes come from Bible Belt using the same method as well.

“We’re surprised to find those born under certain astrological symbols were more likely to submit sex tapes than other people under other zodiac signs,” said Homegrown Video owner Farrell Timlake. However, he warned that “We’re not advocating belief in astrology, nor encouraging any other such belief, but it is interesting to see certain people are more likely than others to record themselves having sex for others to see.”

We don't care if you believe in astrology or not; it is true that some people have a certain flair for excitement that transcends their desire for logic, a perfect storm for porn makin'. And it's no coincidence that this is a major trait of Sagittarians, who, we're told, are the type to crave adventure, new feelings and are open to change as they have a constant desire to seek knowledge and wisdom. They are also said to be natural conversationalists and entertainers. And if that doesn't scream "amateur porn," you're deaf.

The top three zodiac signs most likely to submit an amateur sex tape for public consumption were Sagittarius, with 12.53%; followed by Gemini (May 21 to June 20) with 11.57%, and Libra (Sept. 23 to Oct. 22) with 10.36%.

Capricorns were the least likely to submit a sex tape with just 3.86%.

Homegrown Video also looked at the age range most likely to submit porn to the web. The age range, years they were born and percentages are as follows:

    20-29 (1985-1994), 48.2 percent
    30-39 (1975-1984), 35.7 percent
    40-49 (1965-1974), 12.5 percent
    50-59 (1955-1964), 3.3 percent
    60-69 (1945-1954), 0.3 percent
    70+ (1944 and below), 0 percent

The average age of people submitting sex tapes is 32 years old.

And finally, interestingly, Homegrown Video found that 56.9% of all amateur sex tapes submitted were from women. Although this might support the theory that women are becoming increasingly accepting of porn, we think it's also because when men upload amateur porn, it's likely to be seen as revenge porn in a court of law, making it riskier than it's ever been to have a penis and upload that penis making moves.

So, based on these results, it seems like the best way to make your dreams of amateur porn come true are to find a 32-year-old Sagittarius chick because the planets, because the numbers and stars are aligned so well they're gonna make James Cameron cry with the sheer beauty of your fleshy cinematography.
