None, however, belonged to Suge Knight. We don't think …

The rest of the world might be right in thinking America has an unhealthy obsession with packing heat. In 2015, a record-setting 2,653 guns were confiscated from carryon luggage in US airports — 83 percent of those guns were loaded. The total represents a 20 percent increase from the previous year.

Meaning, a casual 2,201 or so people tried to go through security with a loaded gun in their bag and at no point prior did they think that was weird. Because even though bringing a bottle of water through security makes you an alleged terrorist — a loaded fucking gun must be fine … right? Isn’t that what the Second Amendment is for?

Denver International Airport ranked 4th in the number of "murderous psychopaths" trying to carry guns onto planes, with a total of 90 guns confiscated by TSA. The number averages out to about 1 gun confiscated every 4 days in 2015. Hopefully that makes all you weary travelers feel a little safer?

And while it may seem like more people are trying to sneak guns past TSA, the organization thinks it's because agents are actually finding them now.

According to the TSA Administrator Peter Neffenger:

"Through increased training in detection methods, our officers are becoming more adept at intercepting these prohibited items.”

So basically, TSA admits they let loaded guns onto planes sometimes. Cool. That doesn’t sound problematic at all.
