Hershey's Chocolate is suing a Colorado edibles manufacturer for making THC-laced chocolate bars that look pretty much identical to Almond Joy, Heath Bar, York Peppermint Patties, and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. Well, they say imitation is the highest form of pot-tery. We mean flattery.

Hershey's Chocolate is suing a Colorado edibles manufacturer for making THC-laced chocolate bars that look pretty much identical to Almond Joy, Heath Bar, York Peppermint Patties and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. Well, they say imitation is the highest form of pot-tery. We mean flattery.

The lawsuit claims that e Pueblo edible company TinctureBelle LLC are purposely mimicking the Hershey's brand by using packaging that features the same colors, design, and fonts as some of Hershey's least thrown-away Halloween candies. According to Hershey's, this “creates a genuine safety risk with regard to consumers,” because they might forget that they bought the product in a dispensary and confuse the label's blaring "200 mg" warning to mean "200 mouth-gasms."

Just kidding, edible packaging is a real problem, kids. Just say no to drugs!

Hershey's is asking a judge to order TinctureBelle to stop making the products as well as pay them compensatory and punitive damages, but we think TinctureBelle could find a way to pay them in something worth much more than cash…

Well, even if TinctureBelle's labeling is potentially dangerous, can we all just agree that the their versions are a lot more cleverly named?
