She was tired of the mocking, so she put a slick new twist on the internet's favorite song … But did it work? YOU DECIDE.

Detroit Rapper T-Baby had, um, let's call them "mixed results" when she released the music video to her song "It's So Cold in the D" in 2008.

The video, which started out as an amateur film experiment, skyrocketed to internet infamy real, real fast … mostly because it's what's known around these parts as "the funniest video of all time." It's notorious and fucking amazing for its shitty, shitty special effects, rapping that's neither on time or key, and the sheer apathy of the people in it. People are just standing around looking confused and then suddenly they're in a graveyard and there's a dude laying on the ground and you're like "……….?!"

It's really brilliant … so brilliant that Usher sang it at the Fillmore Detroit a few years ago, and Z-Trip opened his set with it at the Movement festival in 2009. Ironically, of course, but that should give you an idea of its popularity.

But, due to the high level of WTF-factor in the video, it also became target of ridicule. Beavis and Butt-Head parodied it, and T-Baby has been a target of YouTube hate ever since.

So, fed up with the ridicule, she decided to take matters into her own hands and posted a "slicker" five-minute version on YouTube that she hopes will boost her career. It has been played 20,500 times as of Tuesday night, compared to 8.2 million for the original.

Here is the original so you can see the old standard …

… And her is the upgraded "D 2.0" cut.

SURPRISE IT STILL SUCKS OH MY GOD OH MY GOD IT'S EVEN BETTER THAN THE FIRST ONE WHAT KIND OF GIFT FROM GOD IS THIS? LAUGHTER ABOUNDS.

Anyway … moral of the story: You can dress up a shit like a little Sunday fauntleroy, but it's still a shit.

We still love you though, T-Baby.
